BEAT KITCHEN

Our historic 1889 building on Belmont Ave has several spaces for you to choose from for your next event. Our menu and furniture allow you the versatility to host anything from a formal gathering to a children’s birthday party. Outside of parties, the rooms can be used for performances, readings, speakers and other artistic events. Options are also available to rent out the patio and the entire first floor. Have an idea? SUBTERRANEAN

Originally built as a speakeasy and brothel in 1889, Subterranean’s building was a Polish banquet hall for fifty years before it opened in 1995 as the present-day bar and music venue. There are two spaces available for events. The bi-level music room (with a wrap-around balcony overlooking the dance floor) features an original 1889 Tiffany glass chandelier, decorate vintage woodwork, and one-of-a-kind speakeasy-style details. The downstairs lounge has an intimate, underground atmosphere (without being underground.)

SUBTERRANEAN MAIN ROOM:

UNDERBAR

Our intimate space maintains flexible hours, boasts an unbeatable $0 room fee, and is open to events of nearly any kind. We handle the ambiance, drinks, catering, and music, and you can focus on making memories. A DJ and/or a photographer are available upon request.
