Clothing Swap – Sunday, February 15

Swap & Sip at Beat Kitchen
Sunday, February 15, 12 – 3 PM

RSVP: here!

Beat Kitchen is teaming up with Petals & Jackets and Funky in Chicago for Swap & Sip at Beat Kitchen, a free, all-ages clothing swap celebrating secondhand style, good company, and fresh beginnings. Bring 5-7 pre-loved, gently-used clothing items or accessories to swap, or just come to mingle and browse. This is a size and gender inclusive clothing swap, and anything not claimed will be donated.

12–12:30pm: Sip, mingle, and hang your items (hangers provided!)

1pm-3pm: Let’s swap! There’s no fitting rooms, so we recommend wearing tight, fitted clothing like leggings and a t-shirt so you can easily check for fit. Full length mirrors will be available.

How it Works:
Bring your own bag and 5-7 clean, like-new to gently-used clothing items and select accessories (bags, belts, scarves, and like-new shoes.). You’ll then shop for up to 7 new-to-you pieces to take home. If you don’t have clothes to contribute, you can still come to take items.

Beat Kitchen’s full brunch menu and bar will be open during the event – all food and drinks, including a special ‘You Got the Look’ cocktail, will be available for purchase. We’ll also have live music from our Sunday Spotlight band, The Do-Rights.

Additional perks:
– Petals & Jackets will offer a small selection of curated vintage and modern pieces for purchase, plus a $10 off in-store coupon for their shop at 1105 N Ashland
– Funky in Chicago will provide attendees with $10 off a curated secondhand style bundle
– Beat Kitchen will offer a coupon for $10 off food & drinks on your next visit to Beat Kitchen

Free, all-ages event.

RSVP encouraged. Walk-ins welcome while space allows.

Location: Beat Kitchen, 2100 W Belmont
Partners: Petals & Jackets, Funky in Chicago
